 Southgate cluster: Celebrating and Presenting Findings 

  • Presenting and celebrating the findings of your action research
                 
  • Learning from other colleagues and sharing ideas
  • Inviting other colleagues to learn about developing expansive dispositions in their students. 
To prepare for this celebratory session.  Please present your findings with a short  5-10 presentation. This can be with a PowerPoint, poster or simply talking through your findings with the group.   


Suggested structure
1. My Context - logo, picture and headlines about your school and sentence on the group on which you are focusing

2. The Issue - headline sentence for example - ‘Trying to create more resourceful learners’

3. What the research says - key points

4. My Research Question - ‘If I do x will y happen?

5. My Project - key points listing what you did
How you evaluated it, eg
•  An initial and/or end-of intervention survey
•  Participant  observation
•  Interviews, and
•  Field notes
Then include any key charts, graphs, comments

6.  Findings - key points

7. What I learned - key points

 

After this session you are given a report template to write to 1,500 – 3,000 words typically. All are then published on our website.
