Rooted in a large body of rigorous research and evidence, Expansive Education is not the property of any one organisation but describes an approach shared by teachers to develop the capabilities of their pupils. Expansive education:

  • Expands goals for learning beyond success in examinations
  • Understands individual intelligence is expandable, not fixed
  • Goes beyond the classroom, learning from experiences outside
  • Uses Action Research to investigate better outcomes
